Welcome to the Rajasthani Welfare Society

Rajasthani Welfare Society (RWS) is a UK registered charity established in 1975. 

 

One of the largest grouping of Rajasthani speaking people in the UK.  The community migrated from East Africa in the 1970s, all have their ancestral origins in the state of Rajasthan, India. 

 

Members span all age groups, gender and geographical regions within the UK - predominantly in Slough and London. 

 

RWS maintains the rich culture of Rajasthani people. It carries out culture, welfare  & wellbeing activities and contributes to the wider community in holding annual Hindu festivals and use of the facilities.

 

We currently offer

  • Free Yoga lessons
  • Supporting Lucky Gloves Boxing club to establish boxing in the centre of Slough.  
  • Fitness and Dance Classes

We are valuable contributors to the local community.  We have raised funds for disability charities in India, Foodbank in the UK and for local good causes.
